Established in 2001, Instinct Africaine is a record label committed to recording music of consequence from this region that will endure for many years to come. We believe that it is through music and song that the narrative of any culture is handed down from generation to generation. In the spirit of the African Rennaissance, we seek to discover, develop and record the music of Africa and release onto the world market albums of international quality. The rhythms of Africa have influenced just about every genre of music in existance, and our desire is to see our music take it’s rightful place on the international stage.
